Welcome to the University of Oregon's Service-Learning Program (SLP), the hub of experiential learning, community engagement and volunteerism on campus. The SLP strives to unite our campus and host community in mutually beneficial relationships of engaged scholarship, reciprocity and social change.
Through our diverse programming, students can develop strong relationships with the community, ground their academic experience in an applied context and engage new cultures domestic and abroad.
The SLP’s commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and community building is grounded in its unique position on our campus as a partnership between the Holden Center for Leadership, Community Engagement and Social Innovation and the Family and Human Services Department in the College of Education.
